There’s a master class going down in how to make normal what was previously called, “corruption.”
The cookbook is pretty simple:
- Create chaos, the more the better. It diverts and distorts attention.
- Accept gifts but deny any influence peddling or strings. (747’s and anything else you can plate with gold leaf work well).
- Prevent people from doing their jobs if they try to hold you accountable. Lock them out of buildings if you can, and keep them out of court. (Law firms, government watchdogs, ethics officers, and reporters are prime suspects. Bonus if you get them to pay you large sums of money or do pro bono work for you.)
- Get people to give you and your family hard cash in exchange for nothing of tangible value. (This is easily accomplished using cryptocurrency.)
- Make shows of force by breaking laws in public sight.
- Call people “stupid” and “horrible” if they point out the obvious or express any concerns.
- Bake until done.
